Line Spacing (carriage returns)

The editor has a couple of options for assisting with line spacing.

The key strokes to remember are: -

Shift + Enter - small gap
Enter - large gap

Examples
Using the paragraph -

Section 1. This is a nice little paragraph of text that we can use as an example for showing how to layout text on a page. Section 2. This is another paragraph of text that is still quite nice but not as nice as the first one.

1) Using Shift + Enter once you would result in -

Section 1. This is a nice little paragraph of text that we can use as an example for showing how to layout text on a page.
Section 2. This is another paragraph of text that is still quite nice but not as nice as the first one.

2) Using Shift + Enter twice you would result in -

Section 1. This is a nice little paragraph of text that we can use as an example for showing how to layout text on a page.

Section 2. This is another paragraph of text that is still quite nice but not as nice as the first one.

3) Using Enter once you would result in -

Section 1. This is a nice little paragraph of text that we can use as an example for showing how to layout text on a page.

Section 2. This is another paragraph of text that is still quite nice but not as nice as the first one.

In order to get the gap between paragraphs that you want simply use a combination of these keystrokes.
